Radiosessie JFJ & Benny Zen

In januari zijn de radiosessies van Villa Basta en MaxHa! er weer. We trappen de eerste van 2012 af met JFJ en Benny Zen.

JFJ: an indie folk rock band from The Limburg, sounds like Eels having tea with Wilco while listening to what Bob Dylan was doing back when all four beatles were still around.

Benny Zen: The songs drift through strange and, as far as pop goes, unfamiliar settings, where the neighbours have their own private FBI, cows have names, reductionist philosophers ponder away, the devil navigates a black submarine and becoming a freethinker is the highest ambition. Despite the subject matter, major chords are all over the place and vocal harmonies do not offend the ear.
